These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Canvas Labs website at canvasx.ai and our related products and services (together, the “Services”), operated by Isometry AI Private Limited, operating as “Canvas Labs” (“Canvas Labs”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company incorporated in Bengaluru, India. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By creating an account or engaging us, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent.
2. About Canvas Labs
Canvas Labs is an artificial intelligence research and product company. We build AI products and deliver engagements that help organizations put AI to work, including Sketch, Canvas Connectors, and the Context Graph platform. Our products use third-party AI models, including Anthropic’s Claude, to process instructions and generate outputs.
Product-specific terms. Some products are offered under their own terms. Where a product (for example, Sketch) publishes its own terms of service, those terms govern your use of that product, in addition to these Terms.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it up to date.
4. Fees, Billing, and Payments
- Some Services are paid. Fees, billing cycles, and any trial terms are set out in the order, subscription, or agreement for the specific product or engagement.
- Payments are processed by third-party providers (Stripe and Razorpay). By paying, you agree to their respective terms of service.
- Product-specific billing terms, such as Sketch’s credit system, are governed by that product’s own terms.
- We may modify pricing with 30 days’ prior notice. Continued use after a pricing change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms. Specifically, you shall not use the Services to:
- Engage in any illegal activity, including drug trafficking, distribution of illegal substances, or facilitation of criminal enterprises
- Create, distribute, or promote pornographic, sexually explicit, or obscene content
- Harass, threaten, defame, or harm any individual or group
- Generate content that promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination
- Attempt to jailbreak, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the safety mechanisms of any AI system
- Probe, test, or exploit vulnerabilities in the Services for unauthorized purposes
- Use the Services in any way that could damage, disable, or impair them
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
- Transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code
6. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, including the acceptable-use rules in Section 5. Upon termination, your access will be revoked and we may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Any product-specific consequences (such as forfeiture of unused credits) are governed by that product’s terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.
7. Intellectual Property
The Services, including their design, code, features, and branding, are owned by Isometry AI Private Limited and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand elements. You retain ownership of the content you provide. By using the Services, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely to provide the Services.
Some Canvas Labs products are released as open source under their own licenses (for example, Sketch is available under the MIT license). Your use of open-source code is governed by the applicable license.
8. AI-Generated Output
Our Services use artificial intelligence to process instructions and generate outputs. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or biases. You acknowledge that:
- AI outputs should be reviewed before being relied upon for important decisions
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content
- You are responsible for reviewing and validating any output produced by the Services
9. Third-Party Integrations
The Services connect to third-party platforms and tools via Pipedream and direct integrations. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Isometry AI Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Isometry AI Private Limited, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, India. Before initiating formal legal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation for a period of 30 days.
14. Modifications to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
