Our Alpha Launch: We Believe in Builders
After three months of relentless, caffeine-fueled effort building the platform we always wished we had while running our services business, we opened the doors to the CanvasX private alpha.
We started this journey with a single, powerful belief: We Believe in Builders.
You are the marketer who sees a broken workflow and dares to fix it. You are the sales leader building a personalized outreach system instead of just sending another generic email. You are the operations manager who sees a broken process and dares to fix it yourself. You are the developer building AI agents for internal tools instead of getting bogged down by support tickets.
You are every single person who looks at the world and has the audacity to say, "This could be better."
CanvasX.ai is our answer. It is the bridge between your brilliant vision and a functional reality. It is power, made accessible.
Our Beta Launch: A Product That Kicks Ass
We have been talking to our alpha users and they have really helped us build a solid product that kicks ass. Today, we are officially in Private beta.
TL;DR. If you are new here: Canvas is basically if Zapier / N8n and Lovable had a baby. You describe your workflows in plain, simple English, and everything just gets built. No connecting nodes. No figuring things out. Just type what you need, and it works.
Here is what Sketch actually does today. It monitors your X/Twitter for engagement opportunities and drafts contextual replies you approve with a checkmark in Slack. It watches your LinkedIn inbox, creates or updates CRM leads automatically, and flags action points. It classifies your meetings (sales, hiring, product, project) and routes action items to the right system. It handles content research, drafting, and cross-platform asset creation. It tracks competitor landing pages and alerts you when their messaging changes. And it does YouTube analytics, video script creation, and landing page copy. All from Slack. All with your approval before any external action.
The distinction matters: Canvas is the persistent workflow engine that runs in the background (monitoring, scheduling, orchestrating). Sketch is the conversational interface in Slack where you interact, approve, and iterate. Together, they cover the full Attract, Convert, and Retain loop.
Two Years in the Trenches of Building AI Products
Here is the truth: building AI today means wrestling with a zillion frameworks, patching together fragmented tools, and navigating a maze of steps where finding the source of inaccuracies is about as easy as finding a polite debate on Twitter.
That is why we built Canvas AI (formerly Apperture). Think of us as Webflow, but for AI agents. A true canvas where product managers and builders can bring ideas to life as production-grade AI agents. No code, no tangle of frameworks, no detective work.
This journey taught us the lesson at the heart of our 20-year GTM story: the tools were always the bottleneck, never the people. And as we survived the day OpenAI tried to kill us, we learned that resilience is just another feature you ship.
We chose to build Canvas as a teammate, not a platform, because that is what builders actually need.
Workflows that save hours, delivered weekly to you.
